Parenting can be one of life’s most rewarding journeys, but it can also be one of the most difficult. If traditional parenting approaches don’t seem to be working for you and your family, it can feel even more confusing and challenging. Morning routines, bedtime, play time, outings and getting along with others can be much more intense with kids that are perceived as difficult or challenging.
If you are looking for a different way of interacting with your child or the adults in your life, The Nurtured Heart Approach® class is a great way to make positive change. Jane Montgomery, Advanced Certified Trainer in The Nurtured Heart Approach®, will lead the six classes that will change the way you parent and interact with the people in your life.
What is The Nurtured Heart Approach®?
The Nurtured Heart Approach® works for all children and any parent would benefit from learning this positive approach for interactions. It has been shown to be especially effective in parenting children that struggle with emotional or behavioral difficulties such as ADHD, anxiety, or defiant behaviors. The Nurtured Heart Approach® is a relationship-focused strategy which utilizes The 3 Stands™ to help children build their Inner Wealth® and use their intensity in successful ways. If you would like to learn more about the approach from its creator, Howard Glasser, you can watch his video:
